Former WWE Champion The Rock has responded to WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin’s reaction to his Raw Day 1 return.
On the Day 1 edition of WWE Raw, The Rock made his return to the company to confront former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in an in-ring promo segment.
The two former champions brawled for a bit before Rock stood tall following a People’s Elbow to the “Modern Day Maharajah.”
The Rock’s return led to a massive ovation from the sold-out crowd in San Diego, but it also led to a big reaction from WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin that was shared on social media.
On January 2, “The People’s Champion” took to social media to comment on Irvin’s reaction to his return. He wrote:
