CM Punk shares his perspective on Seth Rollins.

When CM Punk declared his intention to join WWE Raw on the December 11 Raw episode, Seth Rollins immediately confronted him. Rollins asserted that WWE was not Punk's home and accused him of spending a decade trying to undermine the company. Expressing anticipation of outwrestling Punk, Rollins aimed to prove his status as the best in the world.

Punk revealed his entry into the Royal Rumble and hinted at a potential challenge to Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship if he emerged victorious.

During an appearance on the WWE Preview Special, Punk was questioned about Seth Rollins today compared to their encounter ten years ago at Royal Rumble 2014.

"I saw Seth as someone following in my footsteps. Many in WWE now, for better or worse, looked up to a guy like me. I always acknowledge the legends who paved the way for my journey—Terry Funk, Eddie Guerrero, Bret Hart, Tracy Smothers, Chris Candido. There are many guys without whom I wouldn't have had the opportunities. It might sound strange, but Seth is a guy I thought that about ten years ago. He might not have had the opportunities he's had if not for me. Facts are facts, they don't care about your feelings," Punk expressed.

When asked about Rollins' sentiments towards him, Punk replied, "What Seth honestly feels about me is none of my business; that's how I approach it. Maybe he's jealous or envious; it's not for me to decide.

Fortunately, there's a ring. When you have differences, you settle them in the ring. The Rumble is on the horizon. If Seth is still the champion when the dust settles, maybe we can discuss and settle it in the ring," he added.

Rollins retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by successfully defending it against Drew McIntyre on Monday's WWE Raw Day One.

Punk is scheduled to make an appearance on the January 8 episode of WWE Raw.
