#1 Half Squashed

The main event on this week’s Elevation was the only non-squash match, though an argument could definitely be made against that! It featured the Lucha Brothers taking on The Wingmen (at least one of them is officially signed to the company!). It doesn’t take too much guesswork to figure out who won, yep... the Lucha Bros.

A nice warm up match before they go for the ROH Tag Team titles on March 31st in the “Reach for the Sky Ladder Match”. This match gave them an opportunity to show off their entire tag team prowess, which they maximised, like only they can.

#2 “Got to give the people what they want!”

We all know the saying, and we all know that it’s synonymous to the Best Friends, who do actually feature in this week’s moment. However the Star(boy) of this moment is Starboy Charlie, one of Best Friends opponents.

If you regularly watch AEW showings you’d have probably seen the sign “Sign Starboy Charlie” make an appearance within the first few rows. This overall-wearing youngster definitely seems to be gaining momentum, and has featured on AEW a handful of times the past week. Unfortunately for Charlie, it was in a losing effort, again. However, he certainly appears to be the new thing that the fans want, step aside hugging!

#3 Hat

Our third moment this week is a rare appearance from the JAS’s heater, Jake Hager, with both his hat & Angelo Parker accompanying him. No Matt Menard this week though, as he was too busy on commentary, with Paul Wight. Claiming to “Like this hat” at every opportunity, all whilst beating down his poor opponent.
