NWA Issues Statement, Clarifies That Upcoming Reality Show Will Air On The CW Streaming Service

NWA posts a correction.


In October, Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling reported that the NWA signed two television deals with The CW Network, and one of them was for a reality show about the NWA's behind-the-scenes business. NWA recently announced that new episodes of NWA Powerrr would appear on The CW App starting on February 6.




During a new interview with Knockouts and 3 Counts, NWA lead announcer Joe Galli stated that the reality show would air on The CW's broadcast channel.


“As of right now, we’re on the app. But television is constantly moving, so we’re having all of these different conversations about what’s happening in the world. So there’s a possibility that it could. I will let you know that our secondary show, which I think a lot of podcasts and people have already talked about it, which is basically a reality show. That is going to be on The CW, on their traditional network. It’ll have a time slot, and that’ll be really interesting to help tie people in, and that’s more of a decision of decision from CW to try to get people to migrate over to the app," he said.


In a post on Twitter/X, NWA clarified that the "unnamed and unscripted show" will soon premiere on The CW streaming platform.

A correction:


In a recent interview, NWA lead announcer Joe Galli misspoke in stating that the NWA's as-yet unnamed and unscripted show would air on @TheCW Network's broadcast channel. Rather, that same unscripted effort will soon premiere on @TheCW streaming platform, which notably will also exclusively host future episodes of NWA Powerrrr starting February 6.


The CW App is free for download, and requires no local cable provider for access to their great library of shows.




Galli also took to Twitter/X to apologize, as he noted that he got some information wrong.


As of this writing, there is no word on when the NWA reality series will premiere. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
