Kenny Omega Health Update After Recent AEW Appearance

There has been a major update regarding the health status of Kenny Omega as the AEW star continues to be out of action due to illness.

Omega made an appearance live in Winnipeg on Dynamite recently, but it might be a while until we see him again.

Per a new report from Fightful Select, Omega underwent surgery on May 16 in New York as a part of the ongoing process to treat his Diverticulitis.

While it is expected that Kenny Omega will continue to be absent for a lengthy period, there are currently no creative plans for him.

In his appearance in Winnipeg, Omega was written off of television after having been attacked by the Young Bucks, Jack Perry and Kazuchika Okada.

Kenny Omega would later appear on an episode of Dynamite in a pre-taped segment where he announced Team Elite versus Team AEW for the upcoming pay-per-view, Double or Nothing 2024.
