FORMER AEW STAR’S WWE RETURN MATCH ANNOUNCED

The WWE return match of a former AEW star who recently made a shocking return to the company has been announced.

On last week’s episode of WWE NXT, the culprit behind the recent cryptic videos airing on the show was revealed.

The videos ended up being for the return of former AEW star Shawn Spears, who attacked Ridge Holland with a steel chair under his AEW name rather than his WWE name of Tye Dillinger.

Following his return, WWE has now announced that Shawn Spears will have his return match on next week’s NXT Roadblock special episode of NXT.

Spears’ opponent has yet to be announced.

Spears won’t be the only name returning to action at Roadblock, as a video aired on NXT this week hyping the return of another wrestler in a beach themed vignette, which many believe to be for Sol Ruca, who has missed over a year of action with a torn ACL.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will also be on the line on the show, with Asuka and Kairi Sane defending against Tatum Paxley and NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.
