AEW STAR STRIPPED OF CHAMPIONSHIP
An AEW star has been stripped of their championship, confirmed on Last night’s episode of Dynamite (May 29) and a plan has been revealed.
Adam Copeland is no longer the AEW TNT Champion.
On last night’s episode of Dynamite (May 29), The Elite took to the ring to announce what the future held for the TNT Championship.
Confirming Copeland’s injury, they laid out their plan for naming the next TNT Champion.
At first, The Elite tried to simply crown Jack Perry the new champion, but Christopher Daniels came out.
He announced there would be qualifying matches over the next few weeks, and then a ladder match at Forbidden Door to decide the new champion.
Copeland announced after Double Or Nothing that he suffered a broken tibia on his jump from the top of the cage.
