WWE Tag Team Split Update

On last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, there was an update on a tag team that has been teasing a potential split for quite some time.

After months of teasing a potential break-up between Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, there was a direct reference to their growing tension on television.

In a backstage segment on SmackDown, Baron Corbin would confront Austin Theory about talking trash about him behind his back, as reported by Grayson Waller.

Seemingly the altercation broke something loose in Theory as he snapped at Waller.

Pointing out that all of his recent altercations have in fact been started by Grayson Waller, specifically trash talking and hiding behind Theory, he wondered if they were on the verge of breaking up.

Waller however was apologetic and expressed remorse but didn’t offer a remedy.

Rather, Waller would go on to tell Theory he was his “best mate “and he was sorry for getting him in trouble with his “banter”, but the signs of a split are clearly still there.
