A WWE star has made their return to television after a nearly seven month absence on the October 9 edition of WWE Raw.
In a backstage segment featuring Becky Lynch holding the NXT Women’s Championship (and promoting her recently available for pre-order memoir), she was interrupted by a familiar face.
Xia Li made her return to WWE Raw after a long absence from WWE television.
While she has appeared in matches on the dark match series Main Event, Xia Li hasn’t been seen on WWE television proper since March.
Li was Last seen in a WrestleMania 39 Showcase match where she teamed with Lacey Evans and lost against Natalya and Shotzi.
In the segment on the October 9 edition of Raw, she walked up to Becky Lynch as an apparent new challenger to the NXT Women’s Championship.
Later in the show, Lynch would defeat Tegan Nox.
Already set for an upcoming shot at Becky Lynch is Lyra Valkyria on NXT at night one of NXT’s special two-part Halloween Havoc on October 23.
