A WWE star has appeared as the cornerman for a fighter at UFC 303 as the event kicked off a big night of fighting in Vegas Last night.
With UFC 303 now underway at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada, there has already been a WWE star sighting.
Shinsuke Nakamura was in the corner for Rei Tsuruya ahead of a fight this afternoon.
It seems that the WWE star may have had even a bit of good luck as Tsuruya would go on to defeat his opponent Carlos Hernandez.
This maintains Rei Tsuruya’s undefeated record in MMA at 10-0-0.
Shinsuke Nakamura last appeared on WWE television in-ring action back on April 22 where he was defeated by Sheamus, but remains active at house shows including regular title matches against Cody Rhodes.
While the early prelim action has already begun in Vegas, there may be more WWE-related news popping up later from UFC 303 as the card continues through the night.
The co-main events on the night are set to begin in a few hours with Alex Pereira vs. Jiří Procházka 2 as well as Brian Ortega taking on Diego Lopes. UPDATE – Due to Ortega pulling out with illness, Diego Lopes will now fight Dan Ige.
