WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque has sent a message to WWE ring announcer Alicia Taylor ahead of her SmackDown debut.
As previously reported, Fightful Select reported that NXT ring announcer Alicia Taylor will be making her way to the SmackDown brand following the 2024 WWE Draft. Meanwhile, fellow ring announcer Mike Rome will replace Taylor on the NXT brand.
Ahead of her SmackDown debut, WWE CCO Triple H took to social media to send a message to Alicia Taylor. He wrote:
If you’re part of the #NXTUniverse, you know what an absolute powerhouse @AliciaTaylorNXT is. She was meant to have a @WWE microphone in her hand, and tonight she makes her debut as an official member of the #SmackDown team.
Thrilled to be working together again, rockstar.
Meanwhile, former 14-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair also sent a message to Taylor ahead of her SmackDown debut. She wrote:
You go woman!!!
Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown will feature the King and Queen of the Ring tournament continuing. The show will see Randy Orton will face AJ Styles, Carmelo Hayes will go one-on-one with Baron Corbin, and Tama Tonga vs. Angelo Dawkins in the first round of the King of the Ring.
Meanwhile, the Queen of the Ring tournament will feature Jade Cargill vs. Piper Niven, Bianca Belair vs. Candice LeRae, and Naomi vs. Nia Jax in first round matches.
