#1 A Very Warm Welcome
Elevation haled from El Paso Texas this week, and I’m sure only one thing pops into any wrestling fans head when they hear that place: Eddie Guerrero. As expected Vickie Guerrero was welcomed home to a tremendously loud pop from all in attendance, as she accompanied out her client, Nyla Rose.
After Vickie blasted out her patented “Excuse Me!” a few times down the mic, Rose & her semi-regular partner Emi Sakura went on to pick up the win over Madison Rayne & Skye Blue during the match, much to the crowds delight!
#2 A Hard-y Apology
After their unsuccessful attempt to capture the World Trios titles last week, due to an unintentional misfire from Matt Hardy to Ethan Page, the two found themselves continuing their story on Dark: Elevation.
In a backstage segment The Broken One, sporting a new silk shirt, brought some cameras along with him to issue an apology to All Ego. Ethan Page was reluctant to accept this at first, but Hardy won him around with some good old fashion butt-kissing, and a present, consisting of a very Ethan-esque shirt for the Boss. This concluded with the two hugging, where Hardy gave the camera a sneaky side-eye...?

A regular moment here on the Elevation Takeaways is the ROH Women’s Champion, Athena, and she’s back again this week! We definitely have a storyline for her next defence (culminating at ROH’s SuperCard of Honor perhaps?).
This week Yuka quickly put away Dark regular Vertvixen, but wasn’t able to celebrate for long. Athena blindsided the Magical Girl, and took the beating to the outside of the ring. The brawl eventually ended after Athena set up Yuka between the stairs and ring post, but only after she dropkicked the stairs, crushing Yuka’s legs between the two inanimate objects.
