Top 3 Takeaways from Dark 4th April 2023

This week’s review & takeaways for AEW Dark on YouTube, for April 4th, 2023

This week’s Dark came to you from Universal Studios, Florida, with 7 matches; featuring Lee Moriarty, Leila Grey, Willie Mack and more... Here are your Highlights

#1 Athlete: Confirmed. Varsity: Why Not?

Here we have it! It’s confirmed, its official, and it’s on record. Ari Daivari is a Varsity Athlete, confirmed by the Lawyer Mark Sterling himself in an interview backstage. Also confirmed by Mark was that Trust Fund Ari is still head of the Trustbusters – so at least that’s not another faction that will just fizzle into obscurity, for now anyway.

#2 The Outcast, is outcast

Toni Storm was in this week’s main event against Kiera Hogan. Storm was out on her own again this week (what’s up with that?) and was lead to the ring with a brand new Outcasts Theme song. The crowd were into it too, giving Toni the heat she needed, and backing Kiera throughout the match. One guy loudly proclaimed “Kiera is on FIYAAA!” in reference to her new look. Toni walked out your winner after a Storm Zero.

#3 Dastardly Uno

Evil Uno was also in action again this week, flying solo once more. And his opponent was The Wingmen’s Cezar Bononi. A decent match, where Uno took to using his own vest on two occasions, once to trip the bigger man & a second time to hold him in place to deliver some body shots! All before wrapping it up after a stiff piledriver.
