#1 And NEW

This week’s Dark showed off the new-look Universal Studio’s Soundstage in all its glory. Dark has been given a facelift this week, and treated to a brand new and shiny set, with more screens, bigger crowds and what looks like the old tunnels we grew to love from Dynamite. Nice to see AEW up-cycling!

#2 Action in Action

This week’s Main Event had Action Andretti take on Lee Johnson, who was accompanied by Cole Karter. The two youngsters definitely gave it their all, and the crowd seemed into it. A good outing by both men, with both able to get a good amount of offense in for a solid 12 minute match – a rarity for Dark!

AEW’s newest rising star; Andretti came away with the win after catching Johnson off the top rope, and hitting him with a beautiful neckbreaker. It leaves me thinking – are The Factory’s days numbered with QT Marshall now aligning himself with Powerhouse Hobbs? I guess time will tell.

#3 Honouring the House of Black

Ahead of defending their newly won World Trio’s titles tonight on Dynamite, the House of Black’s female member, Julia Hart, set an example for her team on this week’s Dark. She found herself against a local talent, and could have put the poor girl away very early but instead pulled her shoulders off the mat to inflict more punishment, all before getting the submission win with her signature hold – Heartless.
