Tony Khan potentially interested in Bellator

It is being reported by TJR Wrestling that Tony Khan and is father, Shad Khan are interested in purchasing the MMA promotion Bellator. On MMA Hour, Ariel Helwani said that he Khans have now expressed interest in purchasing the MMA promotion. There is no clear indications on how aggressively the Khan's would act to acquire Bellator.

The Khans currently own AEW, Jacksonville Jaguars, Ring of Honor, and Fulham.

Bellator's majority stake owner is currently Paramount Global. Other fighting promotions are said to be in the feeling out stage for this sale also. The have held that role since 2011. Behind the UFC, Bellator is considered the second biggest MMA promotion.

Jake Hager currently has an undefeated record in Bellator. Two wins by submission and one by decision. Jake Hager uses the moniker "Rock Hard" in that promotion. Hmm, him and Juice Robinson may need to fight over that. Bobby Lashley also fought for Bellator. His win record for the promotion was 15 and 2. Lashley was part of the promotion from 2014 to 2020 when he returned to the WWE.
