TNT - THRILL KILL

Clint Mccormick

Event 4 of a history making weekend was the most violent show I’ve ever been to.

More fans made their way to this show than the other 3 as everyone anticipated correctly that we’d see something special. Here’s what we saw.

DEATHMATCH

EMERSYN JAYNE VS CHARLI EVANS

The ‘Madonna of the Deathmatch’ had already earnt even more fans this weekend but it was a rare opportunity to see Charli Evans on these shores producing a white hot atmosphere.

Both women gave no regard to their bodies or safety to go for the win.

Emersyn won when she puts Evans back through light tubes and hooked both legs to prevent a kick out.

I went into the weekend a fan of Emersyn’s and I don’t think many would argue she was the star of the weekend.

THRILL KILL SEMI FINAL - FANS BRING THE WEAPONS

DREW PARKER VS SESSION MOTH MARTINA

Session Moth said this was her last night doing Deathmatches and she was going to go out winning Thrill Kill.

The nightclub lighting was a nice touch as it was divided into the 3 Irish colours.

Martina has been the same for at least 7 years now but the crowd is always hyped. Fusion also gave a rousing reception for Drew Parker who has done big things on the Deathmatch scene in recent years.

The 2 brawled to the Bar where Session Moth got distracted and ordered a drink before climbing on the bar and hitting Drew with a hanging light for interrupting her order.

Light tubes galore got smashed on Martina’s head in the ring as she wasn’t going to go down without giving it everything.

Parker advanced and the Irish Lass thanked TNT and the fans.

THRILL KILL SEMI FINAL - BARBED WIRE CHAOS

BA ROSE VS JACK HARROP

I hadn’t seen these 2 before but the majority of the largest crowd of the weekend had as they were loud.

Tables with Barb Wire were places in the corner which the 2 gladly used.

Harrop did the Mick Foley elbow drop with a chair on the outside.

BA Rose speared Jack through a fence of Barb Wire.

BA Rose advanced to the 4 way final.

MC Ben Cicil was taking requests and played ‘Walking on Broken Glass by Annie Lennox” while the ring crew were sweeping up glass in the ring.

I don’t know if it was Ben’s idea or a request but it got laughs.

THRILL KILL SEMI FINAL - TOKYO TOWER DEATH MATCH

TOMMBIE VS MICHAEL CADEN

Towers of light tubes taped together were stacked in each corner and the match started with Tommbie charging which Caden sidestepped. Tommbie went crashing through the tubes and was gushing blood from his neck in the first few seconds of the match.

Caden controlled a big portion of the match and hit Tommbie with a Fisherman Buster onto debris in the ring but Tommbie managed to advance.

THRILL KILL SEMI FINAL - TAIPEI DEATH MATCH

RPW RUST BELT TITLE MATCH

LOU NIXON VS TIM STRANGE

Lou and Tim are friends who have traveled together and Lou said he wanted to put his RPW title on the line in this match due to that respect.

Tim is a massive lad with a Ghostbusters logo on his trunks.

He was soon opened up and as the 2 brawled through the crowd Tim said “I’m bleeding” to which Lou replied “So am I”.

The highlight of the match was when Strange lit up a branding iron which Nixon took off him before branding Tim with the branding iron on fire.

This was enough for Lou to complete the final 4 in the Thrill Kill Death Match final.

During the interval Emersyn Jayne was in the ring having photos with fans before she was jumped by 2 masked people. The hit and run was so quick that no-one had time to try and work out/guess who the cowardly attackers were.

TOM THELWELL VS JUDAS GREY

I haven’t seen Thelwell in a while and he’s bulked up (in a good way) and has more of a presence to when I last saw him.

3 bookings for Judas at TNT this weekend but a win/loss record he’ll want to correct soon as Thelwell got his hand raised.

Tommbie came out and had to announce he hit an artery in his earlier match and wasn’t being allowed to wrestle in the final. How he continued was astonishing as it was in the opening moments. Tommbie said he’d have died out here to compete in this final. I believe him. His time will come again.

His opponent Michael Caden was taking his place. Caden said he’d prevent Tommbie winning and Tommbie admitted that he had.

THRILL KILL FINAL - FOUR WAY ELIMINATION DEATH MATCH

DREW PARKER VS BA ROSE VS LOU NIXON VS MICHAEL CADEN

This match was bat shit crazy. It broke off into 2 fights around Fusion for the opening few minutes. I followed the action so didn’t get much footage of this. Caden was the 1st eliminated.

Lou Nixon and BA Rose battled on the steps before the RPW Champion kicked Rose through a table set up below while screaming “THIS IS TNT”.

Nixon made his way to the ring where he was next eliminated by Drew Parker.

BA Rose was in bad shape and Parker came after him looking to for the prestigious Thrill Kill Deathmatch Tournament win.

He wasn’t successful though as BA Rose got his name in the history books by winning at the end of an entertaining, violent and memorable weekend in Liverpool.
