TNT SUMMER EXPLOSION

After the more family friendly TNT Ignition Outrage on Saturday came TNT Summer Explosion. A bigger standing crowd filled Fusion in Liverpool. Here’s the haps at the graps.

SKOL BROL (ASPEN FAITH/CALEB VALHALLA) VS QUINTESSENTIAL (CHRISTY QUINLAN/PADRAIG QUINLAN)

A bonus match for those that paid VIP. Skol Brol picked up the win.

Alexxis Falcon came out with an arm in a sling to start the show as interim Manager. It was good of TNT to put work her way whilst she’s injured.

TNT ULTRA X TITLE

MAN LIKE DEREISS VS SENZA VOLTO

Both men picked up big wins earlier in the day to set up this showdown. Senza took the mic after Dereiss had done his usual entertaining entrance and tried the “when I say 01 you say” and “Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet”. He also tried on Dereiss’s durag. It was entertaining. He gets it.

A back and forth match saw Dereiss retain on a weekend he picked up 3 wins from 3.

LYKOS GYM (LYKOS AND LYKOS II) VS ACT TWO (BENJAMIN HARLAND AND JACK KNUDSEN)

Act Two had plenty of backing in Fusion as an entertaining fresh act (no pun intended).

They were looking for a big win against one of BritWres’s most established Tag Teams but Lykos Gym got their hands raised.

LJ CLEARY VS CHE MONET

A beautiful life rung around the venue meaning Noah’s LJ Cleary was on his way with G-man. LJ got a good reaction which soon changed as he berated Liverpool after having to come from Japan.

Che Monet had the backing of the crowd as the 2 men fought on the outside. The majority were happy by the end of the match as Monet picked up a huge upset.

Cleary continued to berate Liverpool after the match before G-man told him to go fuck himself.

TNT IGNITION WOMENS TITLE

DEATHMATCH

KASEY VS LUCY SKY

These 2 met last month and Kasey got herself disqualified. Lucy then challenged her to a Deathmatch.

I hope TNT got a discount on a batch of light tubes as they were being used like they were going out of fashion here. They make a great visual and shards of the tubes went flying into the crowd 6 rows deep. There was a stag do in and 1 of the lads was surprised at the level of violence.

Kasey put up a fight but a bloody Deathmatch Lucy wasn’t letting anything stop her walking away as Ignition Champion.

Emersyn Jayne came out to address the crowd and was attacked by 2 masked men for the 2nd month straight.

ALLIE KATCH VS RHIO

Next up was what I think was the longest match of the night. Allie is a draw and

brought over by multiple BritWres promotions. Rhio had already been through 1 battle against Dereiss earlier in the day and it didn’t get any easier here.

Katch came out on top after what must have been 20+ minutes of action.

Before the next match a video played that said “Don’t say I didn’t warn you” and showed the vantage point of someone entering and watching training. Mike Angus repeated what a member of the crowd asked, “What the fucking hell was that?” before moving on.

TNT WORLD TITLE

TATE MAYFAIRS VS EFFY

Che Monet, Cole Radrick, Joseph Connors, Tristan Archer and Connor Mills had already been beaten by Mayfairs in this reign. Was Effy going to become the next victim?

Whether it was real or a ploy, Mayfairs showed intimidation by Effy early on. The 2 men took it to the outside of the ring where the referee gave leniency and then the fight was taken to the streets of Liverpool where some random guy on a night out kicked a bin being used by Tate much to Jay Apters amusement.

Once back in the ring, Mayfairs won after finally hitting the low blow he’d gone for on a few occasions.

After the match Alexxis Falcon came out and said “That type of shenanigans might be ok under Leighton Buzzard (a previous guest General Manager) but that shit ain’t gunna fly with me. I’m prepared to rule with an iron fist. All is not lost because there will be more chaos, there will be more carnage and that means there will be more……

This was the que for Charles Crowley’s music to hit and the spectacular twat to come out. He initially helped Effy up before attacking him.

Once Effy got up you’d assume he would go for immediate retaliation but instead he invited Crowley to Effy’s Big Gay Brunch next month. “I know you only pretend to kiss boys but I can show you how to do it for real”. Effy then dropped the bombshell that Effy’s Big Gay Brunch will not only be back in September but FOR 2 NIGHTS!!!

TNT EXTREME DIVISION TITLE

DEATHMATCH

BIG F’N JOE VS BA ROSE

BA Rose beat Jack Harrop, Lou Dixon, Michael Caden and Drew Parker to win Thrill Kill and earn a shot at the TNT Extreme Division Title.

Big F’n Joe doesn’t take prisoners. It was well over a year since he took the title from Clint Margera.

Light tubes, barb wire and tables played big parts in a match that ended with BA Rose as your new Champion.

Whilst BA Rose celebrated, Drew Parker interupted with Quintessential at his side. Drew cashed in his briefcase for a shot at the Extreme Division Title. Rose was dead on his feet and Parker hit a shotgun dropkick followed by a swanton for the inevitable 3 count.

BA ROSE KICKED OUT THOUGH!!!

Parker went for a knee that was blocked. Rose went for a PowerBomb but Drew got out and hit running double knees. 1 more knee shot with Parker pulling Rose into it and we had a new Extreme Division Champion.

This closed out another great double header in Liverpool. If you can free up a day it’s definitely worth going to Fusion for 2 shows in 1 day. Liverpool is rocking on a Saturday so the 2 hours between shows flys by.

Next up is Effy’s Big Gay Brunch on the 28th and 29th September. If we want these big promotions and events to keep coming to the UK then we need to show up when they do.
