Stephanie Vaquer WWE Brand Confirmed After Defeating Main Roster Star

Clarification has emerged on WWE’s plans for Stephanie Vaquer, with the WWE signing’s new brand now confirmed.

Following Stephanie Vaquer finishing up with CMLL and NJPW, Shawn Michaels confirmed that the former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion was WWE-bound.

While many fans expected her to start her WWE run in NXT, speculation arose that she might be fast-tracked to the main roster following her in-ring debut at the July 13 house show in Mexico City, Mexico.

With Vaquer defeating Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn, rumours have been swirling about the new star joining the Raw women’s division. These rumours were also fuelled by a backstage video showing Vaquer speaking with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, which you can view below.

Stephanie Vaquer has now confirmed that she will officially join the NXT roster, sending a message to the developmental brand following her WWE in-ring debut.

In a video shared on WWE’s Instagram page, Stephanie Vaquer stated:

“NXT, see you soon.”

Vaquer is also set to appear at last night's live event in Monterrey, Mexico.
