Randy Orton will team up with another beloved star, LA Knight, on tonight’s December 8 WWE SmackDown.
A big tag team match has been announced by WWE for the newest SmackDown acquisition, Randy Orton.
With Orton and Knight set to to take on Bloodline members Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, the tag team match is the latest thing announced for what is set to be a packed edition of SmackDown.
Marking a ‘Tribute to the Troops’ special edition of WWE programming, SmackDown is also set to see the first appearance by CM Punk on the blue brand in nearly 10 years.
Santos Escobar gets the first match of the weekend against Dragon Lee for an opportunity at the United States Championship.
However Dragon Lee won’t stop his tour around WWE at SmackDown, as he’s set for another match at Saturday’s NXT Deadline premium live event.
Dragon Lee is set to challenge Dirty Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship after the original match had to be scrapped.
Mysterio’s original challenger, Wes Lee, had to pull out due to an injury that could keep him out of action for around a year – click here to read more.
In the other SmackDown tournament match, Bobby Lashley will take on Karrion Kross who has been off of WWE television in nearly four months.
While Kross continues to feature in house show matches as well as several dark match appearances in front of live crowds, he hasn’t been on WWE television since August.
Around the time Kross left television, he was feuding with AJ Styles who is also rumored to be making a return soon.
