After weeks of chasing Tully Blanchard for the Television Title, Ricky Steamboat makes it clear that he's ready to take the gold
WORLD WIDE WRESTLING – 1984: Fan favorite Ricky Steamboat comes out to announce that he's secured a no-disqualification match against Tully Blanchard for the NWA TV title.
As Mid-Atlantic announcer Bob Caudle tries to keep the situation calm, Blanchard comes out to get in the challenger's face and talk trash before Steamboat eventually grabs him by the lapel. Chaos ensues from there. Unfortunately, the feud never really took off as originally planned, and Steamboat would depart for the World Wrestling Federation in 1985.
