Manny Fernandez accepts Paul Jones’ briefcase full of money and attacks his longtime ally, Jimmy Valiant. This would cement The Raging Bull's membership in The Army, and sided him with Jones in his longtime war against The Boogie Woogie Man.

This would ignite a feud between the two, and led to The Raging Bull going on to team with Ravishing Rick Rude as part of Jones’ stable. The pair would eventually capture the NWA World Tag Team titles.
