JON MOXLEY’S NJPW RETURN MATCH ANNOUNCED

The return match in NJPW for former three-time AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has been announced.

At last night’s NJPW Royal Quest III event in London, Will Ospreay retained his IWGP United Kingdom Championship in the main event against Zack Sabre Jr.

After the match, Ospreay took to the mic to call out anyone from Japan for a match against him for the title.

Shota Umino answered the challenge, where he challenged Ospreay to bring both his United Kingdom Championship, and the IWGP United States Championship, to Power Struggle in Osaka on November 4 for a title shot.

Ospreay accepted Shota’s challenge, on the condition that Shota’s mentor Jon Moxley makes his return to NJPW for the show, and faces fellow United Empire member Great-O-Khan.

Moxley is currently out of action with a concussion, with his planned International Championship rematch with Rey Fenix being pulled from last week’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday.

The updated line up for Power Struggle in Osaka on November 4 is as followed:

IWGP United Kingdom (United States) Heavyweight Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Shota Umino

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs. Taiji Ishimori

NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii (c) vs. Zack Sabre Jr, Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls

Jon Moxley vs. Great O-Khan
