An update on WWE Hall of Famer ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan has been shared following his recent emergency surgery.
Jim Duggan’s wife Debra shared a statement via Jim’s Twitter account on Saturday (September 9), revealing that the wrestling legend had been admitted to the hospital the previous night for an emergency procedure.
The following statement was shared:
We want to thank everyone who came out yesterday as Jim was honoured by the Glen Falls Firefighters Association and apologize to those who came after 3:30.
Jim was taken to the hospital and admitted yesterday evening. He had emergency surgery this morning and everything went well. We will reschedule tomorrow in Utica, MI for a later time. We welcome your prayers and will continue to provide updates.
A new update has been shared from Jim Duggan’s account, which reads:
Jim is resting comfortably. He is on the mend and will be back on his feet soon. Thank you for your prayers, good wishes and messages. Hacksaw’s fans are awesome!
