The month of July is always a hot bed of activity for NJPW. The coverage on this was delayed because of Dynamite. Blood and Guts may have been AEW's best show this year. AEW and NJPW announcer Kevin Kelly did announce that NJPW Strong Fighting Spirit will emanate from Sam's Town in Las Vegas October 28th.

NJPW bookers are definitely setting up C Block and D block to be underdogs. There is still a lot of matches to occur between now and August 10th when the winner of each block faces off against the second place in the block. No surprise that Okada and Sanada are winning their blocks. The more interesting thing will be who pulls ahead to face Okada on August 10th.
Henare, pictured below, is the first individual to compete in the G1 Tournament with facial tattoos. His markings are traditional to Maori of New Zealand.
