Dynamite September 18th Review and Reaction

Wilkes-Barre, Pa kicks it off tonight with two of the most recognizable names on the roster.

The match starts off with Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reiley, and Orange Cassidy in a hockey fight against the Learning Tree. This match was chaos from the start. Jericho faked a dive, but turned around to get an Orange Punch. Jericho would later catch Cassidy and perform a running powerslam. A lot of the match was fought on the outside of the ring. A Slumdog Millionaire into a Michinoku Driver almost gets Orange Cassidy the win. Jericho would monkey flip Cassidy into the guardrails shortly after that. Jericho would then backdrop Orange Cassidy thru the time keepers table. The two wrestlers would eventually get back in the ring before being counted out and exchange blows. Niether man would get the better of the other in this exchange. I would say there isn't many large moves that are not seen in other matches or done by these two regularly. Jericho does lock on the Walls of Jericho. Orange Cassidy would escape it by crawling to the rope. Big Bill reemerged to hit Orange while Aubrey wasn't looking. Kyle O'Reilly comes back out to even the odds. Cassidy would eventually win with an Orange Punch.

Hook would have a quick matsch against JD Ink. Who must get his name from the amount of tattoos he has as it looks like a full body. Hook quickly takes JD down and follows that clothes line with several suplex. Cross faces by Hook lead to Red Rum and the win.

Another odd booking choice. Deeb and Yuka do put on a nice back and forth to state the match. Mariah may just chills on the steps for the early goings of the match until she tags herself in. Queen Aminata was down. Mariah May mocks Yuka Sakazaki. Deeb gets tagged back in. Yuka would deliver a Northern Lights Bomb. May just picks her up by the waist to break up a pin and German Suplex to Yuka. Aminata delivers one herself. Yuka climbs to the top of ropes and does a springboard on to all of the other participants. Mariah May breaks up the pin by hitting Yuka with the belt. DQ win for Yuka Sakazaki and Queen Aminata. May beats Yuka with the title after the match.

Private Party attacked the group as they headed towards the ring via the crowd. Claudio delivers a Choke Breaker twice to Quinn while Mox and Shafir obliterate Isiah. Kommander comes out to attempt to even the odds, but receives an upper cut as he dived out the ring. Alex Abrahantes also gets beat down.

Once Mox gets a mic, he tells Private Party they have been in the same spot for five years. Then Mox hit his hand with a hammer to give Private Party some resistance. Darby attack Mox with his skateboard. Mox escapes before too many blows. Darby grabs a microphone and promises to run thru Mox at Grand Slam.

This is a Pay Per View caliber match. Ricochet corners Mortos. The ref gets Ricochet off Mortos and Mortos just picks him up and moves him into the corner. Beast Mortos misses a knee and tumbles to the outside. Tope suicida by Ricochet. Ricochet re-enters the ring with a springboard attack. Mortos gets back into it and both men do jumping arm drags. The action gets too fast to event keep up. Kick to the back of the head sends Mortos out. Ricochet flips out but is caught and power bombed onto the ring apron. Ricochet is temporarily slowed. Mortos hooks on a rear chin lock. Mortos would put Ricochet into the corner. Ricochet would fight out temporarily but Mortos has his way and puts Ricochet back in the corner. Ricochet is not Baby. Lame jokes aside Beast Mortos continues to beat down Ricochet. Ricochet would start to make a comeback but be shut down by Mortos. Ricochet does gets some spacing but Beast Mortos closes that with a massive Samoan Drop. Ricochet just cannot break away to take the offensive. Ricochet flips out the ring and bounces off Mortos. Ricochet does hit a Canadian Destroyer. Springboard 450 gets Ricochet a 2 count. Mortos catches Ricochet as he climbs to the top. Huge Military Press Slam from the top by Beast Mortos. How Ricochet kicked out who knows? Ricochet would counter the next move with a crucifix bomb. Reverse DDT slam wins the match for Ricochet. I would not be upset if this evolved into a trilogy or more.

Page just rehashed his previous weeks I hate those those support Swerve rhetoric. Adam Page then turns on Tony Schiavone who is in the ring with him. Jeff Jarrett saves Adam Page. Adam Page attacks Jarrett as he enters the ring. Security saves Double J from a Buckshot Lariat. Nice segment to give both men a storyline.

Kyle Fletcher and Nicholas Jackson start off the match. Both look evenly matched. Blind tag by Will Ospreay shows the much missed teamwork of the United Empire. Okada tagged in. Shoulder tackle by Okada to Ospreay. Ospreay kips up. Konosuke tags in against Ospreay's will. The Elite takes this as prime time to attack. The Elite pose but their opposition recovers and attacks. Stereo over the top splashes by all three of The Elite's opponents. The Elite single out Will Ospreay to beat down. Running low drop kick by Okada rattles Ospreay. Ospreay fights out of his opposition's corner to tag the Protostar Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher with a running Gamengiri to both of the Young Bucks. He then pins Matthew for a two count. Takeshita tagged in. Takeshita Line to Okada. The Elite are now getting beat down. Two count for Konosuke off a brain buster. Triple team moves by both sides. This match is breaking down. A good old fashioned Super Kick party. When order restored itself Okada and Konosuke are the two men in the ring. Okada delivers a neck breaker to Takeshita for a two count. Konosuke Takeshita is the target for the Elite's beat down for a good five minutes. The Elite then choose to pose over pinning Takeshita when they have they chance. EVP Trigger backfires. Konosuke does a German Suplex to the Young Bucks simultaneously. Tag to Ospreay. Okada catches an Oscutter. This leads Ospreay to eatting a double super kick. Underhook Spinebuster combo by Will and Kyle almost wins the match. Hidden Blade followed with a Coriolis for the win. Your winners Konosuke Takeshita, Will Ospreay, and Kyle Fletcher.
