BREAKING: The Rock has been appointed to the board of the directors for TKO, effective today.
TKO is the parent company of both the UFC and WWE. Where Dwayne Johnson rose to fame as The Rock. The Rock's family is no strangers to helping run a wrestling business as his maternal grandmother ran Polynesian Pro Wrestling.
Dwayne Johnson has also helped run and grow other businesses. Such ventures include Seven Bucks Productions, Teremana Tequila, and Zoa Energy. Dwayne Johnson also have working relationships with both Under Armour and United Football League.
The Rock stated " I'm very motivated to help continue to globally expand our TKO, WWE, and UFC business as the worldwide leaders in sports and entertainment -- while proudly representing so many phenomenal athletes and performers who show up every day putting in the hard work with their own two hands to make their dreams come true and deliver for our audiences. I've been there, I'm still there and this is for them"
Also appointed with the Rock was Brad Keywell. Brad is the CEO of Uptake Technologies. Uptake Technologies is an artificial intelligence company. This brings the total board members of TKO to thirteen.
