Becky Lynch has reflected on her NXT Women’s Championship run.
On the September 12 edition of WWE NXT, Becky Lynch defeated Tiffany Stratton to win the NXT Women’s Championship for the very first time.
Lynch went on to defend her title successfully against Stratton, Tegan Nox, Natalya, and Indi Hartwell before losing the gold to Lyra Valkyria at NXT Halloween Havoc Night 1. With her title reign in the rearview mirror, many fans were wondering what’s next for “The Man” and how she felt about this run.
In an Instagram post on October 26, Becky reflected on her NXT Women’s Championship run.
She said:
“The NbeXT era has come to an end. I am immensely proud of my run as NXT women's champion.”
“From getting to step in the ring with some of the finest up-and-comers to open challenges on Raw and being a catalyst for highlighting the wealth of hungry talent we have on our roster.”
“[Lyra Valkyria] is the real deal and will be a star for years to come. The future is in good hands.”
The Lynch vs. Valkyria title bout was the first time two Irish women have ever faced off for a WWE championship.
