Aj updates on what’s happened
AJ Styles has released a statement regarding the status of his injury after suffering an injury during a mixed tag team match on Thursday at the WWE house show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, when he teamed with Karl Anderson and Mia Yim against Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley.
After an over-the-top rope spot, it seemed to be a leg or ankle injury. They proceeded directly to the finish after the referee raised the "X" signal. After the match, Styles needed the assistance of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to get up because he was unable to walk on his own.
Styles has provided an update in a statement on Twitter by noting that he has a broken ankle, but the good news is that he won’t need surgery. He wrote the following:
“Just want you guys to know that I’m ok. Broken ankle is what I’m dealing with. No surgery, this just takes some time to recover. This will be the longest I've ever been out of the ring. Thanks for the prayers and get well wishes.”
Real Rasslin wishes AJ a speedy recovery
